Silencers

In the '80s, Scotland's Silencers were a classy synth/jangle act. Their hypermelodic and sophisticated approach recalled Big Country, or in the most organic moments, American Jangle Pop acts like the Reivers. Why, in the year 2000, they sound like Cher is anybody's guess.
