Sol Uprising

A duo from Atlanta, Sol Uprising is the work of vocalist Stacy Epps and rapper/producer Lil' Sci (also of Scienz of Life). Flexing strong lyricism and a butter-smooth sound that lies somewhere between neo-soul and laid-back boom-bap, they released their first album, the excellent Sol Power, on Chris Craft's Shaman Work Recordings label in 2003. Sol Uprising have also released a 12-inch single for the track "We Ourself & Us" and are working on numerous new projects.
