Houston rapper and Sauce Factory affiliate
Sosamann represents Splashtown with club-friendly, bass-heavy songs about partying and street life. Raised in the violent Braeswood area,
Sosamann spun his ability as a storyteller (he once contemplated becoming an author) into rap, hooking up with the Sauce Twinz in 2014. He appeared on their mixtape Sauce Theft Auto: Splash Andreas the following year. His own club hit "Did a Whole Lot" attracted the attention of
Wiz Khalifa, who signed
Sosamann to his
Taylor Gang. Later,
Wiz would join
Sosamann on "Not the Vine" from
Sosamann's full-length Sauce Eskobar. The 2016 effort also featured
Young Dolph,
Sauce Walka, and Sancho Saucy. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
