Dallas quintet
SouthFM, formed in 1999, play brooding alternative rock with some echoes of grunge, particularly in their buildups from soft to loud passages. Their debut album,
Drama Kids, was issued on Brando Records in 2002, and remastered and remixed for release on Brando/MCA the following year. ~ Richie Unterberger
