Studio Group

Studio Group is a generic name applied to a number of tribute albums and karaoke instrumentals based upon the music of a vast array of pop and rock musicians. Recorded using uncredited session musicians, they generally aspire to create note-for-note facsimiles of the original songs, down to employing sound-alike singers.
