Tarpe

Tarpe, also known as Petar Katic, is a 26-year old multilingual rapper from Austria/Serbia. He discovered hip hop first when “The Marshall Mathers LP” from Eminem was released. Since then, he knew he wanted to be a rapper. Besides Eminem he catched the early beginnings of the German-Rap scene and quickly became a fan of it. His main influences that can still be heard in his music were Baba Saad, Bushido & Eko Fresh. At the early age of 15 he began to write and record his first tracks with his friends from his home town. In the year 2011 he released his first track “Bis zum Schluss” under his current name. Since then, he was steadily working on improving his skills.
