With considerable debt owed to
the Smiths,
the Isles are a New York City indie pop quartet. An EP, Back to Terrific, surfaced on Binder Records in 2005, followed by
Perfumed Lands, a full-length on U.K. label Melodic in October 2006. As of 2006, the band included drummer Tim McCoy, singer/guitarist Andrew Geller, bassist Ryan McCoy, and guitarist Ben Haberland. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
