Thirsty Fish

Alums of the open mic and freestyle-rap circuits in L.A.'s hip-hop underground, Psychosiz, Dumbfoundead (Jonathan Stewart), and Open Mike Eagle comprise the quirky, freewheeling trio Thirsty Fish. Open Mike, a Chicago native, Dumbfoundead, Buenos Aires-born yet Koreatown, L.A.-raised, and Psychosiz all first met each other at the Project Blowed headquarters in L.A. With features from left-coast underground veterans Aceyalone and Abstract Rude, Thirsty Fish unleashed their debut album, Testing the Waters, in February 2008 on the Project Blowed indie label. ~ Cyril Cordor
