Toque De Prima

Brazilian Samba kings, Toque de Prima draws upon the traditions of the past to create an authentic and vibrant musical experience. The six-man group from Rio, consisting of Ovidio Brito (percussion), Wanderson Martins (cavaquinho and banjo), Marcelinho Moreiera (vocals), Dininho (bass), Ary Bispo (vocals), and Carlinhos Sete Cordas (guitar), have all performed in popular regional samba groups and call upon many of their contemporaries to join them both on stage and in the studio. ~ Zac Johnson
