Toutant

French electronic musician Baptiste Toutant, who is better known under the moniker TOUTANT, delivers imposing and cold electronic music, that reflects an industrial cinematic universe deeply dark and noisy. Toutant was born in Toulouse, France in 1991. He discovered and learned music at an early age, starting with piano lessons. As teenager he experimented with synthesizers and software, and started producing in 2009. After 9 years of work he released his first official track « Distor » in 2018, the starting point of the TOUTANT project. After a couple of massive releases like « Chaos », « AMNHb » in 2018. Toutant achieved his Track « Rebirth » which became immediately his most famous production and offers him great visibility around the world. « Rebirth » is used by big influencers and brands such as Redbull, MVMT, and by a documentary diffuse on Amazon Prime. « Ponderous » is used in a trailer for a Netflix series. The Toutant’s music is associated to the Cyberpunk movement, so his tracks are placed in a lot of music videos mix of this genre on Youtube, cumulating several million streams. In 2019 Toutant creates his own Records Label called « Distor Records ». He signes french electronic music Artists such as Noizinski, Zahia, HIPPØ & THE JACKET, Vêtu de noir… Known for his high-quality production Toutant becomes a sought-after remixer in the small world of Electronic Dark music as well, and remixes some artists such as Lazerpunk, Sierra, Electer.
