Travis Pickle

New York's Travis Pickle started as a club band in the late '90s, performing at various venues, most notably the Luna Lounge. The band favored a lush, clean pop sound, led by the graceful vocals of Carla Capretto, while guitarist Pete Min added vocals as well. Bassist Yianni Naslas and drummer Steve Wickins rounded out the quartet, which released its debut disc on the Luna Lounge's in-house label, Lunasea Records, in 1999. The versatile disc showcased the band's penchant for intelligent pop. ~ Stephen Cramer
