TREY CHOPS

Trey Chops is a producer, songwriter, and rapper who hails from Burlington, ON. All of his music is self-produced, written, and engineered - some would consider him a "one man, band man". Living just outside of Toronto always felt like creative limbo, leading to a 4-year hiatus where Trey Chops didn't release any music. Fast-forward to 2021 where Trey Chops is finally ready to put out the music (and production) he has been sitting on for years. Starting out with Lushlands: Short Stories for Stoners in 2014, it was obvious that the production style of TREY CHOPS (caps preferred) is reminiscent of the old Lex Luger and Wiz Khalifa mixtapes - but that doesn't mean he isn't able to expand and reach out into other genres (like in Rich Nigga Rick Pt. II). Vault, Vol. 1 is just the beginning, as there are several EPs just lurking in the shadows and anticipating a release date. With a deep catalogue of mixtapes and EPs, it seems as if Trey Chops is finally here to stay. Be sure to check back constantly for new releases throughout the year!
