Twise

A new girl group signed to Universal, Twise hit the scene in 2001 with their deadbeat man anthem "Uh Uhh." With a concept similar to TLC's "No Scrubs," they sound off on lazy, ignorant boyfriends everywhere, complaining about their lack of money, abundance of delinquent friends, and daytime nap tendencies. The beats are of the synthetic, club-ready variety, spiked with R&B vocal harmonies and speedy, sassy rhymes.
