Urselle

A beautiful vocalist with a panache for steampunk cosplay, Urselle found herself drawn to the jazz sounds of the snare drum after her pianist boyfriend invited her to listen at the studio one day. She never thought she’d find herself in front of a mike, when she heard the version they had prepared of Prince’s iconic Purple Rain, she innocently asked for a chance to record the vocals. Her romantic and inspired take on this classic surprised everyone and her version went on to be a massive hit. The entire album went multiplatinum in several countries and her track has been streamed literally millions of times. Through the pianist she also met Buddha Sounds, a unique group that fused Eastern instruments and melodies with elements of the popular chill out genre and she joined them for one of their biggest hits I Will Try, from their third album. Urselle is a little eccentric, she has a wide vocal range and many styles but her voice is always a breath of fresh air.
