"VNCHY is a talented young artist that blends sonic melodies with thought provoking and aggressive lyricism. VNCHY’s a bit of a nomad, as he’s lived in many places such as Congo, Bathurst, Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto, but he’s currently living in Los Angeles. It’s easy to lose yourself when you’re constantly on the move, so VNCHY was forced to cultivate his own identity as opposed to becoming a product of his many environments. As an artist, he tends to create alternate realities in his music through the experiences of both himself and his team. From the lingering emotions of his first love, to the drunk, eerie nights puffing shisha and cruising around Toronto with the top down. The power of imagination and communication is the ultimate tool of creation, and with a nod to the great Leonardo Da Vinci himself, VNCHY has come to understand the complexity of the world in multiple dimensions and perspectives, fuelling his desire for constant growth and progression.
