Taking their name from a portmanteau of its members names,
Xavas is a musical team-up between German soul singer
Xavier Naidoo and rapper
Kool Savas. While the pair had worked with each other in the past, the first
Xavas album, Gespaltene Persönlichkeit, appeared in 2012, the same year the duo would compete in the Bundesvision Song Contest with their single "Schau Nicht Mehr Zurück."
