A Bad Think is a project driven by record producer Michael Marquart, one-man wonder and former drummer for British Grammy Award winning band "A Flock of Seagulls," and super group "Alias." A music theory major in college has finally found a home creating works of art in his private recording studio. Marquart is a survivor, and his humility and positive acceptance of life as it is, is precisely what is most endearing in his tracks - the music is pensive, his lyrics meant to be carefully considered.
In addition, Marquart has mixed many outstanding artists including No Doubt, The Connells, Abra Moore, Sponge, Buffalo Tom, Frente, Love Spit Love, Meat Puppets, Hudo Guru's, Our Lady Peace, The Nixons, and Dishwalla. "On My Own" from A Bad Think's first album was nominated for the 2010 eWorld Music Awards (formerly Hollywood Music Awards).
