ALMI is a Canadian-Bengali rapper, artist, & songwriter who was born and raised in Scarborough. He is an upcoming rap artist who started his musical journey back in college with strong motivation when he was writing poetry and freestyling in the streets. ALMI has been listening to more hip-hop/rap from back then and up until today’s today's modern music. His love for music continues to grow as he enjoys researching different methodologies and techniques that could help his career. ALMI's music is inspired by a mix of East and West Coast Hip-Hop/Rap. He has looked up to other rap innovators along with modern contemporaries that impacted him in such a positive way. At the same time, he is also influenced by a whole lot of sub-genre when it comes to hip hop as a culture. ALMI has adapted to learn different unique flows and fast rap that brings a style with both reminisce the past while remaining fresh in this generation of hip-hop/rap. He’s preparing for future single releases and projects. ALMI will begin to perform among the growing diverse hip-hop community. His steady goal is to be on the road internationally and connect with different people in the music industry.
