Ari Chi is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist & producer currently based in Tampa, Florida. Ari has had a passion for music that has been cultivated since her formal training in high school and was transformed when she decided to pick up the ukulele after a short stint with a guitar. The fact was simple, unlike the guitar, Ari could take the ukulele everywhere - like the hallways of her high school for impromptu jam sessions - which meant she could live out her dream and take music anywhere. Self-taught through YouTube, Ari began doing acoustic cover songs in 2013 and developed her skill by practicing everyday and taking heed to fan critique. That work paid off when Ari’s most notable cover for Desiigner’s “Timmy Turner” landed her some groove time with Desiigner on MTV’s “Critique My Cover”. Her eclectic catalog is genre-bending mixing folk, soul, r&b and indie and to produce a sound all her own.
