Atta Otigba

Atta Otigba

* En anglais uniquement

Singer-songwriter and producer, Atta Otigba got his start writing and producing for other artists across the bustling cities of Lagos and Abuja. A youth spent immersed in influences that ran the gamut from classical and jazz musicians such as Chopin and Miles Davis, to modern, more contemporary musicians like John Mayer and Jon Foreman, inevitably paid dividends - Otigba quickly built a reputation for expressive songwriting, and a unique, somewhat cinematic aesthetic. Following a period of reflection, and having spent some time honing his skills as a songwriter, producer and performer, Otigba would eventually embark on a solo career. In April of 2018, Otigba began building a catalog of single releases, beginning with the release of "Carousel," a mesmeric, drama - filled reflection on the human condition and the endless nature of human conflict. He would later follow this up with five more single releases including "Lose you again," a soothing commentary on the familiar themes of love, loss and longing; "Brave in a Hurricane," an anthemic take on finding strength in adversity, and “Slow Down Fireball,” Otigba's February 2019 release - each song casting a quiet light on Otigba's unique voice, vision and penchant for storytelling.
