Audiojaxx composes and performs their music to inspire, striving to create their own unique sound. They like it when people enjoy their music but find it difficult to compare with anything. The Dutch group was founded by singer songwriter Bowie Derwort (voice & guitar) and Frank van Egmond (bass), who were neighbors back then. Originally the band also had a pianist. Since then, Gerard Herks (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Fred Kriekaard (drums) have joined the band. It is said the name Audiojaxx comes from the early days, when an enormous number of 'audio jack' plugs were used in their home studio. After years of home recording and playing local festivals, they have recorded and published their first studio EP "Waiting for a train."
