Banda Comala is a musical group composed in the 1950s by Venustiano Beltrán López in Comala, Colima, México.
It started out playing traditional / regional town music, later rhythm instruments were included. In the eighties he dabbled in band music, recording his first album in 1982. In 1992 he incorporated the voice into the band, and in 1995 he changed to technoband by adding electric instruments: bass, guitar, keyboard, as well as drums. In 1999 it was transformed again to wind instruments, a genre in which it still remains.
