Made up of Cali FM and IAMIV, the duo brings more than 15 years of putting in work to the table. That time fostered their respect for the craft and sharpened skills like lyrical penmanship and pushed the culture forward. They offer a refreshing perspective through those principles, carefully choosing each detail down to their names. Cali FM's two letters represent his belief that the world sees him First as a Minority, regardless of personal success. While IV stands for "In Victory," he's also the fourth generation of men in his family with the same name. The deep thinkers naturally fit together, meshing over a shared love for hip-hop and creating meaningful music.
The result was BlvckWest, a rap duo, an entertainment company, and lifestyle. Their first project is an EP titled Almighty, focusing on elevating rap through taking lyricism to all-time highs. It signifies their artistry, culture, and roots. They're also collaborating on more things than music, including videos, acting, fashion, and more.
