Boon Hui Lu is a Singaporean singer-songwriter, actress and Mandopop star who released her debut album 'Honestly Me' in January 2019.Having first made waves as a songwriter, contributing two songs to Hebe Tien's 2016 album 'Day By Day', Boon was gaining popularity on YouTube, posting a series of Mandopop covers, with one video alone gaining over 45 million views. She then signed to Taiwanese label HIM International, who released her debut album.
