b. 1 October 1951, Canada. When Canadian heavy metal band April Wine broke up in 1988 following singer Myles Goodwin’s decision to embark on a solo project, his move predicted the future course of former colleague Brian Greenway’s career. In reality, Greenway simply did not have the songwriting skills to make it on his own - the vocals on Serious Business, his debut album for Atlantic Records in 1988, were laboured and unconvincing, despite the obvious skill of his guitar playing. It proved to be a one-off experiment before Greenway and Goodwin reunited in a re-formed April Wine at the turn of the 90s.
