Buddy Merrill plays instrumental versions of everything from "Hava Nagila" to Hawaiian wedding music to country. His eclectic tastes don't prevent him, however, from putting his own stamp on the tunes: the guitar's moist, cloying sound dovetails nicely with descending hordes of weepy strings.
