Capturing a sound that slips between the experimentation of sonic noise, melodic pop, absurd lyrics, and a garagy production are the Portland, OR-based Captain Vs. Crew. Consisting of Tim Ervin-Gore (vocals/guitar), Shawna Ervin-Gore (drums), Brunson Moody (bass), and Rob Jones (guitar/vocals), Jealous Butcher Records eventually released the band's debut EP, My Body Is a Radio, in 2001.
