Charisma is a vocal powerhouse, songwriter and performer from Nairobi, Kenya with an eclectic
sound. He started his career in music as a member of Kenyan boy band Le Band who had a
string of hits which did well in the East African region with their song ‘Number 1’ featuring
Kenyan songstress Suzziah especially doing exceptionally well. The song has amassed around 4
million views on YouTube and continues to be a fan favorite and a classic in Kenya and East
Africa.
In 2019, Charisma decided to begin a solo career and he released his debut track
‘Unavyonipenda’ featuring Kenyan rapper Mbithi. The general reception was amazing as fans
took to Charisma immediately and he received massive airplay from stations around Kenya
unequivocally showing that the former Le Band lead singer really could make this jump. He
followed this up with ‘Tuthi nawe’ featuring Njerae.
Fans had been asking for more and in 2020 Charisma finally gave them his debut project, an EP
that he dubbed ‘With love, Charisma.’ Audiences raved about the project and his solo career
fan base seems to be growing by the day.
Having already shared the stage with international superstars like Sauti sol, Wizkid, Diamond
Platnumz, Khaligraph Jones, Tekno, Omarion, Nyashinski just to name but a few Charisma who
is considered one of Kenya’s top performers is set to be a star.
