Royce Cory Gandy (born April 5, 1996), professionally known as CHIEF RCG, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from St. Louis, MO. He is signed to PreciseFB, LLC. He releases music under his own imprint LouLife, LLC. During his teenage years he joined the school band and began learning musical theory. Chief RCG was also a heavily recruited NCAA D1 football prospect. However, he was removed from high school due to a marijuana drug possession which stymied any hopes of playing collegiate football. At that point he and childhood friend/label-mate Von Skirty started LouLife Music. With football out of the way Chief RCG concentrated on his love of music through his lyrical prowess and joined with PreciseFB, LLC to garner more acclaim for himself and his brand, LouLife. Combined with true to life powerful visuals Chief RCG was well on his way to stardom until he fell asleep at the wheel of his vehicle on the way home from a nightclub. He crashed into a tree that left the vehicle split in two. Chief RCG was just as battered suffering multiple injuries to include a broken hip. Fully recovered Chief RCG is ready for another swing at the plate. After a successful 2019 Chief RCG is ready to release more music and begin touring for his quickly blossoming fan based. Mixing soulful passion and raw lyrical ability Chief RCG has a sound that can only be heard from, "Double L".
