Christel Sundberg in Helsinki,
Chisu is a singer/songwriter whose work has been utilized by such Finnish rock luminaries as Tarja (formerly of
Nightwish) and a smattering of Finnish Pop Idol contestants like
Antti Tuisku and
Kristiina Brask. As a solo artist/performer,
Chisu released her first single, "Mun Koti Ei Oo Täällä" (My Home Is Not Here), in December of 2007. While the track would prove to be popular -- even appearing as the theme to the film Sooloilua -- it was merely a warm-up for her Top Five album,
Alkovi, which was released in early 2008. ~ Chris True
