Based in Norway, Circles End came into being in 1994. By 1996, the group was heavily working on original material and expanding their musical horizons. They released their first CD in 1998, the EP Circles End. Their follow-up CD, In Dialogue With the Moon, was released in 2001. The lineup of the group is Omar Emanuel Johnsen, Jarle Pettersen, Karl Riis Jacobsen, Gøran Kristiansen, and Trond Lunden.
