Daigo Naito is a vocalist who rose to prominence as the lead singer of Breakerz, a moderately successful Japanese rock band who released a series of albums between 2007 and 2017. Born in 1978, he is the grandson of Noburu Takeshita, the former prime minister of Japan. He began his musical career in 2003 under the stage name Daigo Stardust prior to forming form Breakerz, a three-piece outfit who used session players to play drums and bass. After releasing their self-titled debut in 2007 the band recorded a series of albums which enjoyed varying degrees of success, their most notable being 'Big Bang' which charted for eight weeks in 2008. Naito launched his parallel solo career in 2013 with the release of the single 'Rebirth'. As well as his career as a musician Naito is also an actor who has played a variety of roles in the Japanese film industry.
