Born and raised on the mean streets of OWERRI, DJ MILES, AKA LESLIE CHIDOZIE NJOKU, started his musical journey when his Uncle would play mixtapes to him while he was in his mother's womb. It was at this moment that LESLIE CHIDOZIE NJOKU knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'. He first became interested in the electronic music scene in 2001. In 2010, aged 14, his Mum and Dad bought him his first set of decks. At the age of 17, he was already being touted as OWERRI's answer to DJ Hype. He did various warm up sets before the doors opened in clubs hosting major names such as DJ Hype, and many more. In 2015, he achieved his big break when he won a competition on an EDM forum to play a set at a phat rave, which DJ MILES described as the greatest night of his life. It was after this point when he started getting gigs at big events such as Wedding and Westbrook Hotel New Owerri. After receiving several offers, DJ MILES joined , who helped distribute his first internet release, 'NLCA'.
