Italian multi-instrumental musician, composer, and producer, Donatella Canepa was born on 6 March 1992 in Genova. She grew up near the great Mediterranean port that has sent out explorers to worlds known and unknown, with the centuries-old Lanterna lighthouse showing the way. Her music has been forged by this seafaring realm of ships and distant horizons, of wandering spirits and long sea routes. Influenced by voyages and explorations, her rock/metal guitars blend with electronic and orchestral sounds to create a range of musical genres. After playing the guitar and producing music with bands from the underground scene, she began to take on the more complete and versatile role of music producer, mainly in the world of library music. She has released three solo albums to critical acclaim and her name has appeared in the prestigious magazine Classic Rock Italia. "All'Inizio Del Mondo", her soloist self-released debut album, was followed by "Nautilus", distributed by the historic Milanese label Top Records, and "L'Orizzonte Degli Eventi", produced for Soundiva.
