Dreamcatcher are a K-pop group from South Korea formed as MINX in 2014 by vocalists Kim Min-ji, who goes by the name JiU, Kim Bo-ra (SuA), Lee Si Yeon (Siyeon), Kim Yoo-hyun (Yoohyeon) and Lee Yoo Bin (Dami). Signed in 2015 by Happy Face Entertainment, the original group released their debut EP 'Love Shake'. They took a hiatus until 2017 when singers Han Dong (Hamdong) and Lee Ga Hyeon (Gahyeon) joined and the band became known as Dreamcatcher. Their 2017 EP 'Prequel' went to number five on Billboard's World Albums chart, 'Nightmare: Escape the Era, the Second Mini Album' (2018) reached number seven, 'Alone in the City' (2018) peaked at number six and their 2019 EP 'The End of the Nightmare' debuted at number six. Popular singles by the group include 'Full Moon', 'You and I' and 'PIRI'. They toured Europe and Latin America in 2018 and their 2019 schedule was to include appearances at venues in Jakarta, Manila, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo and Kobe.
