Getting his start, Kareem Duke, aka Dukewon, first hit the music scene as an aspiring rapper in Des Moines, IA. In the early 90’s, his pseudonym was BO$$ K, and he was a prominent member of B.I.C. (Brothers Incorporated Crew). After various shows and contests won, B.I.C. was gaining recognition throughout the community. In the late 90’s, B.I.C. rebranded into Mad House becoming a strong force in Des
Moines, IA. Considering the geographic, BO$$ K decided to make the move to Atlanta, GA to advance his music career. BO$$ K worked diligently to promote music in the south and managed to create two full albums.
Followed by a dark past, he decided to step back and regroup, both mentally and spiritually. Throughout his years of silence, he found his voice through music production, rebranding himself under the name Dukewon. He decided to learn more of what the music industry offers by obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University. Dukewon has been hard at work pushing his new brand IPMG, Infamous Power Music Group. Some credits include Riff Raff, Joel Orr, Quan Duke and other various artists. After dusting the microphone off, Dukewon decided to drop a project. The journey continues for Dukewon and his vision is to bring unity with music through many genres, such as Hip hop, Trap, R&B, House and EDM.
