An award-winning composer and recording artist since her professional concert debut at age five, Emily Bear has achieved groundbreaking success as a pianist, composer, producer and singer-songwriter in jazz, classical, pop and musical theater. Bear started composing music at age 3, was a published composer by age 4, made her professional solo concert debut at age 5 and at 6, was awarded her first ASCAP Concert Music Award. Now 20 years old, Bear has garnered more than 50 million views on YouTube, a documentary on her life received an EMMY Award and she has performed her original compositions and arrangements with orchestras and ensembles on the most legendary stages around the world including: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Hollywood Bowl, and Montreux Jazz Festival.
W Magazine’s It Girl of the Year, Bear has performed for the Dalai Lama, played a solo concert at the White House, headlined stadium tours, and has been featured on television programs around the world including The Kelly Clarkson Show and 7 times on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In addition to her chart-topping CD Diversity, produced by Quincy Jones, Bear has released five other original music albums and is the co-creator of the viral success, Bridgerton the Musical with her writing partner Abigail Barlow.
Recently honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame, her instinct for writing and singing pop music has led to collaborations with top songwriters and producers in the industry, and her film and media roster includes Disney, DreamWorks, Google, Warner Bros., Hulu and Universal. Whether she is creating a cinematic orchestral soundtrack or writing a pop song, clients value her ability to create both the score for a project as well as the songs.
