Emmanuel Ceysson is a French harpist. He began his studies at the Lyon Conservatoire and progressed to the Paris Conservatoire, where he studied with Isabelle Moretti. He received a DFS degree in harp and won first prize in harmony in the class of Cyril Lehn. He became the first harpist to obtain awards at three major international events, the USA International Harp Competition in 2004, the New York Young Concert Artist Auditions in 2006, and the ARD Competition in September 2009. At age 22, he became the principal harpist of the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Paris. He has also performed chamber music and solo recitals, appearing at such venues as Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the Kennedy Center. Since 2006, Ceysson has taught master classes at the Royal Academy of Music in London. In May 2015, he was named as harpist of the Metropolitan Opera. He has recorded for Claves, XXI, BR Klassik, and Naïve.
