Fusing frantic guitar riffs with thumping rhythms, infectious melodies and untamed punk rock energy, Fifty One are a pop punk band hailing from France. Initially called “Into the Void”, the fierce three-piece are relaunching their legacy under the new name having now matured more as artists. To this day, the band have toured most of Europe, performed in hundred of pubs, and amassed a growing cult following with their music videos. Now with the debut EP “REBIRTH”, Fifty One are ready to show the world that rock’n’roll is still alive and well, with a streamlined sound that melds together all the best influences from california pop punks golden eras such as Green Day, Goldfinger, Blink 182 and Rancid. The band was initially founded by longtime singer and guitarist Max Ducat who’d already fronted for numerous punk and metal bands. They formed in 2010 with Pierre Laguian on the bass and Alex Ortega on the drums and grinded their way up the pop punk scene for the next few years, eventually breaking up due to lack of funds. The band came back in 2015 with a vengeance, touring across France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Belgium and beyond in a savage European tour. Now armed with a new guitarist, Jeremy Lorrain, to suit their fresh, highly-evolved, melodically-rich sound, Fifty One are here to stay. Noting that the current icons of the pop punk scene such as New Found Glory, Less Than Jake, Sum 41, Neck deep and State Champs inspire them to continue pushing forward and keep that feel-good party atmosphere alive.
