Fred Mollin is an award-winning producer, songwriter, and film composer. After playing in several Canadian bands as a teenager,
Mollin moved to Toronto and began producing albums during the 1970s, scoring his biggest international hit with
Dan Hill's 1977 ballad "Sometimes When We Touch." He relocated to L.A. during the 1980s, decreased his production gigs, and focused on composing music for TV shows and movies.
Mollin cast a wide net, scoring everything from Beverly Hills 90210 episodes to several Friday the 13th sequels. He later returned to the production world, working on albums like
J.D. Souther's
Natural History,
America's
