Trombonist Geoff Cole played with leading British Trad Jazz exponent Ken Colyer in the 1960s. More recently he's been leading his own ensembles, releasing tributes to Stride pianist Fats Waller and fellow 'bone player Kid Ory. The influence of those two can be felt in Cole and Co.'s music, but they inject plenty of their own personality as well, and they play with contagious feeling.
