Geoffroy Sauvé writes world-weary but hopeful songs inspired by his extensive travels, as well as relationships and heartache. His atmospheric production combines trip-hop and light dance beats with folk-rock guitars, bringing to mind fellow indie electronic artists like
James Blake and
Chet Faker. Sauvé's debut EP
Soaked in Gold, co-written and co-produced by Max Gendron, was independently released in 2015. Full-length
Coastline, co-produced with Gendron and Gabriel Gagnon, appeared on Bonsound in 2017. ~ Paul Simpson
