Gilli is a Danish hip-hop artist who has reached mainstream success with singles including the likes of 'C'est La Vie', 'Helwa', 'Orale', 'Habibi Aiwa', 'Tidligt Op' and 'Langsom og Rica'. Gilli works alongside artists including Kesi, Noah Carter and Benny Jamz as part of the hip-hop crew B.O.C., as well as with Stepz, Branco and Benny Jamz in MOLO.Born Kian Rosenberg Larsson on June 27th, 1992, Gilli started getting attention at the age of 20 with the release of his single 'Små børn', which made it to number 34 in the Danish charts. More singles, including collaborations with Kimbo and Murro, followed, but 2014 was the year that he really gained traction.That year Gilli made a move into acting, starring and performing in director Fenar Ahmad and writer Anders Ølholm's film 'Ækte vare' (2014) about a Danish kid attempting to escape poverty through rap. An EP of tracks from the film, including collaborations with the likes of MellemFingaMuzik, KESI and Højer Øye, made it to number eight in the charts.In 2015 Gilli got his first number one in the singles chart with 'C'est la Vie' (another collaboration with MellemFingaMuzik) and he's repeated the trick several times since with tracks including 'Tidligt Op', 'Langsom', 'Kolde nætter' and 'Vai Amor'. © ©Copyright Music Story 2020
