Glass Collective from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Our career begins in 2015, by collecting music to
merge it with film material. Initially with 5 members: José Mora, José Pac, Gustavo Salazar, Gustavo
Velásquez and Luis García we gave space to creation and experimentation obtaining an instrumental and
innovative style with elements of jazz, indie and electronic.
February 2017, "New World F.M" In June of the same year, "Time Thread Studios" the audiovisual
experimentation begins.
August 22, 2017, first video clip “in the time”
January 2018, “In the time-Live session”. Sergio Urizar joins as a visual graphic designer as well. In
August of the same year, the imox award was obtained in the musical category.
January 2019, the short film “Los sueños de Tansu” was produced in 48 hours, which won the "Golden
Quetzalito"
April, the new member Daniela Barrios joins the collective and with her 5 new songs are produced
July 2019, International Jazz Festival, this time with the project "Jazz On" in Quetzaltenango.

November 3 "Un Día Menos” live session" at the National Theater of Quetzaltenango.
November 16, 2019, the short film “Los sueños de Tansu” wins the “Poporopo” award from the
Universidad Panamericana Guatemala.
On December 27 Glass Collective wins the "Premio Gardenia de Plata" from Quetzaltenango in the
musical category.
February 14, 2020: The single ¿Dónde está el tiempo?
July 27, 2020 "Bailando en el Mar" another single is produced this time from home because a global
pandemic.
