Glen A. Larson began his musical career as a member of the Four Preps, a 1950s male quartet. Larson co-wrote several of the group's hit songs, including "26 Miles (Santa Catalina)," "Big Man," and "Down by the Station." In the 1960s, Larson began a highly successful run as a TV producer. He was involved with shows such as The Fugitive, The Six Million Dollar Man, Battlestar Galactica, Magnum, P.I., Knightrider, and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. The highly popular theme songs for several of these shows were also penned by Larson.
