Born on August 6th 1997, Gustavo H. Lopes has always found ways to express himself through art. He started acting at the age of 10 for a school production of "O Pagador de Promessas" and since then he's accumulated participation in more than 10 both professional and amateur plays and a few short movies.
Writing has also been a big part of his life. Documenting stories about life through poems, scripts, plays and music have become a routine. "I write about many things. Things that might have happened to me, my friends or even something I wish had happened. Feelings, people, awkward or more serious situations... anything can become music.", the 23-year-old said.
Living in Buenos Aires, studying at a Drama School and far from his hometown (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and family, he released his debut single (Mary) on his birthday in 2019.
To his sophomore single, "Before I Say Love", Gus wanted to try something different, but nothing compared to his first 2020 single: Inspiración.
He has planned other 2 releases for 2020, the first is a powering duet sung in French and Portuguese with his dear friend Thassadit (who is making this, her debut single). The second is his most vulnerable song to date.
