Combining strong lyrical impressions with crossbreed sounds displaying picks of rhythm & blues and pop/rock, Homer Erotic goes beyond the simple concept of a pop/rock group. Assembling in New York in 1990, Homer Erotic presents unique musical patterns and represents keen and definite figures of music as an art form. Constituted by Angela Babin (bass, guitar), Barbara Barg (vocals), Maggie Dubris (guitar, bass), Heather Ferguson (drums), Suzanne Gallant (percussion), Andrea Pierotti (violin), and Sarah Wendt (vocals, djembe, percussion), Erotic started gaining extensive acclaim due to their poetic and fascinating lyrics. Captivating their audiences by way of their single kind of shows, presenting not only a common musical celebration, but also all the main ingredients of an representation display, Erotic started gaining a respectable fan base all around New York's underground music scene. After releasing the EP Yield, their debut disc, Homer Erotic delivered their first album, Homerica the Beautiful, and continued to regularly play live, not only in New York, but also all through the U.S. © Mario Mesquita Borges /TiVo
