RIO was formed in late 2001, the first album was released in 2004.The current line up consist of:
-Fabio Mora (vocal)
-Fabio "Bronsky" Ferraboschi (bass guitar)
-Alberto "Paddo" Paderni (drum)
-Gio Stefani (guitar)
The band has released 5 albums from which were extracted 18 singles tracks.The fourth one,"Mediterraneo" (released on july 2011), topped the charts reaching the top spot of iTunes.
The band has a great live activity (more than 500 shows in 8 years!!), many participations has head opening act in Ligabue and Elisa live shows, live shows abroad (Brazil, Mexico, Romania, Belgium, United Kingdom and France), participations in festival and national tv shows; the band has a lot of member in their official fan club "Mariachi Hotel".
