The German rap and hip-hop performer Jamule is of Spanish-Lebanese origin and was born Jamal Manuel Serrano in Duisburg in 1996. He comes from a musical family and was encouraged to sing and perform from early childhood. After leaving school he began training as a merchant in the export but gave up after a year and began working in bars and concentrating on his musical aspirations. 2017 proved to be a pivotal year for the rapper when he teamed up with the producers Miksu and Macloud, who have since become his de facto production team. In 2018 the rapper announced that he had signed to the PA Sports record label and his debut single 'NBA' managed to scrape into the German charts at number 97, a position it held for one week. His 2019 EP 'Ninio' reached number 40 in the German domestic charts and so far has provided the artist with his most significant commercial success. © ©Copyright Music Story 2020
