Jeff Plate was born in 1962. After playing with various groups, he eventually hooked up with Wicked Witch. He stayed with that group for two years, until the band fell apart in 1992. Plate next hooked up with Voodoo Rodeo, and stayed with them for a year. When he left, it was to join Savatage. He is also part of Savatage side project Trans Siberian Orchestra. ~ Gary Hill
